DESCRIPTION:Event put on by the Columbus Chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers. Here is what they have to say…\n\n“It’s time for the Reverse Raffle! Get your tickets to have a chance to win the $1\,000 grand prize!\n\n\n\nBack again for another year of thrill\, anticipation\, and fun Columbus AAZK’s Reverse Raffle is bound to be another good time! \nThere have been a few changes including a change in venue! This year we will be hosted by Nocterra Audubon. We are also making the event a little more intimate with only 100 tickets\, so make sure you get your tickets early. General admission tickets include dinner and a number for the main board. Drinks and side board tickets will be available for purchase. There are no assigned seats at the venue\, but your ticket will include a seat number which will be your number for the Big Board. If you are craving a specific number you can pick it on the seat map\, but do it quick because it is first come first serve. \nWhat is a Reverse Raffle? Well\, it is the complete opposite of a normal raffle! Instead of wanting your number to be called\, you want your number to be the last one called. If you are the lucky person who has the last number called\, then you win the grand prize of $1\,000! Of course there are also some twists and turns along the way\, and even if your main number is called\, there are still other ways to win some green! \nAll profits from the event go to support the Columbus Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers. These funds go towards furthering keeper professional development and various conservation projects that support different animals like rhinos\, polar bears\, turtles and tortoises\, and so much more! The Columbus AAZK Chapter has donated nearly $200\,000 to conservation organizations around the globe! \n\n\n\nWe have a few changes for our 23rd Annual Reverse Raffle event this year!1. Location change: Nocterra Audubon\, attached to Scioto Audubon Metro Park. (Don’t worry because there is plenty of parking so bring your friends!)\n2. Reduced the number of tickets sold: 100 big board numbers and\, therefore\, reduced the grand prize is $1\,000.\n3. Nocterra will be providing the amazing food: charcuterie trays\, cheese trays\, crudite trays\, hummus trays\, chorizo meatballs\, potato and cheese croquettes\, birria sliders\, and deviled eggs.
