DESCRIPTION:The Penguins are coming!!!\nWe’re hosting “Pints 4 Penguins 2025” and raising money for conservation from 3-8pm on Sunday September 14th.\nPenguins and their animal friends from the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium will be visiting from 5-6pm\, and you’ll get a chance to interact with them. The event is FREE and open to the public. We just hope you’ll enjoy a Nocterra beer or hard seltzer while you’re here.\nWe’ll have three “Penguin Beers” on tap – IPA\, lager & hard seltzer – and we’ll be donating $1 per pint to SANCCOB saves seabirds.\nPlus\, the penguins will be painting some pictures that will be available\, along with other cool items\, in a silent auction.We’ll have a scavenger hunt for the kids and a penguin-inspired costume contest at 7:30pm\, for anyone who wants to dress up and show off their penguin love.\nThis event is hosted by the Columbus AAZK ChapterParental Policy – This is a family-friendly\, family-encouraged event. Parents are still responsible for supervising their children. Please encourage safe & courteous behavior for the enjoyment of all. Most importantly\, have fun while you learn about animals & conservation.\nNOTE ABOUT ANIMAL AMBASSADORS – The zoo decides which animals are allowed to travel based on weather\, medical safety & the mood of the animals. Get your tickets to have a chance to win the $1\,000 grand prize!\n\n\n\nBack again for another year of thrill\, anticipation\, and fun Columbus AAZK’s Reverse Raffle is bound to be another good time! \nThere have been a few changes including a change in venue! This year we will be hosted by Nocterra Audubon. We are also making the event a little more intimate with only 100 tickets\, so make sure you get your tickets early. General admission tickets include dinner and a number for the main board. Drinks and side board tickets will be available for purchase. There are no assigned seats at the venue\, but your ticket will include a seat number which will be your number for the Big Board. If you are craving a specific number you can pick it on the seat map\, but do it quick because it is first come first serve. \nWhat is a Reverse Raffle? Well\, it is the complete opposite of a normal raffle! Instead of wanting your number to be called\, you want your number to be the last one called. If you are the lucky person who has the last number called\, then you win the grand prize of $1\,000! Of course there are also some twists and turns along the way\, and even if your main number is called\, there are still other ways to win some green! \nAll profits from the event go to support the Columbus Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers. These funds go towards furthering keeper professional development and various conservation projects that support different animals like rhinos\, polar bears\, turtles and tortoises\, and so much more!
